Room Sweet Room

First of all, let me apologize for being M.I.A. recently. I have been working a part-time job and preparing my classroom for my first year of teaching! It's exhausting, but so exciting and completely worth the sleepiness. 

I have finally been able to get into my classroom now. Twice. Woo! Which means that I have taken nearly everything to the school to store it in my classroom since my parents are tired of all of my school and house stuff taking over their house.

I took some pictures after my first day in there, so I will be sharing those. However, my arrangement has already changed again. I guess that's just a part of figuring out what works for me and what I like. 

I am getting so excited to get back in there and continue working on my classroom. I have been working on some projects that I will share on here later. Have a great Thursday!

Hello! I am so excited to get started on blogging my ideas that I have been working on this summer for my new classroom! First thing's first, I have to post pictures of my classroom before I lay my hands on it. I have visited the school a couple times, and they are in the middle of cleaning all of the classrooms, so it is completely empty! 

I will be teaching 2nd grade at Spring Valley Elementary School, and I could not be more excited. The school is awesome, and the classrooms are huge. Have a look for yourself!

I stood in the doorway and panned the room so I knew every inch of space I was getting. 

Let's just say that it all became real when I saw that name plate hanging outside of my classroom door. Man oh man, I cannot wait to start decorating!
